New Year's Greeting From FRMS

As we says our goodbyes to 2010, it is time to welcome 2011 as it has much excitement and surprises in store for all of us, good or bad.

This year has been an amazing year in footie from the John Terry-Wayne Bridge saga, Spain winning the World Cup,to Inter clinching the Treble and El Clasico where Barcelona trashed Real Madrid 5-0.

Well. Enough of me. Happy New Year and I wish a prosperous and happy Footie 2011 to everyone!

Kid Insults Newly Appointed Inter Coach On Sky Italia

As if you haven't heard of it , former AC Milan coach has been appointed as Internazionale coach to clean up the mess left by Rafa "Fat Spanish Waiter" Benitez.

A LIVE correspondent for Sky Italia first asked this random kid which club he supported. The answer unsurprisingly, was AC Milan, Inter's crosstown rivals/ stadium tenants/ Leonardo's former club.

When asked his feelings on the Leonardo appointment, he said (Lei) è uno stronzo - or "he is an a**hole" for the English speaking lot.

The things people do on LIVE television even if its a teenager.

Suarez Does A Mike Tyson And Eto'o Does A Zidane

Firstly, Luis Suarez. Yes, Ajax's captain may have done a "Hand Of God" Part 2 but no one saw this coming. In Ajax's match against PSV Eindhoven (that ended 0-0), Ajax's Rasmus Lindren was shown a straight red for a ruthless challenge on Ibrahim Afellay (set to join Barca in January).

His challenge started off a fracas between the two clubs. During the scuffle, Suarez fleetingly seemed to bite PSV’s Otman Bakkal on the shoulder.

The ref was in a very good position when this Tyson-esque thing happened and Suarez went out unpunished. After the final whistle, Suarez and Bakkal left the pitch side by side. Problem solved.

Inter Milan's crisis intensified with a 2-1 defeat at Chievo where Samuel Eto'o committed a Zidane-like headbutt that could result in a lengthy suspension.

In a moment of madness similar , Eto'o headbutted
Bostjan Cesar in the chest after having been hit by the defender. The referee missed the incident but the big boys at Serie A are surely to look at video evidence and will certainly give him a lengthy ban.

Mourinho: When In Milan

Jose Mourinho was making a return to his former "home"- as he would put it- for a Champions League encounter between Real Madrid and the annoying tennants of his former home, AC Milan. The tennant's fans' were standing by to guess what?- boo him. As expected, Mourinho gave the best response he could give, the 3 finger sign. AC Milan 0-3 Mourinho.
While Inter fans, whose team was beaten by Tottenham (or Gareth Bale, to be more exact) were showing their love to Jose and saying that he belongs to Inter, NOT Rafa Benitez.

The tactics of Jose Mourinho. Featuring his pen and notepad.

Why Must He Be Welsh?

In a match that should have been remembered for Inter's trashing of Tottenham by scoring 4 goals in the first 35 minutes instead will always be remembered for Gareth Bale's superb hat trick. Two of those goals were scored in stoppage time.

Although known as a left back, he has also been used in the left wing which is the position he has excelled in the past two seasons.

Another talented Welsh player. First Ryan Giggs, now him. *sighs*. Congrats, Gareth.

Unique Celebration From Eto'o

Samuel Eto'o was part of Inter's 4-0 trashing of Werder Bremen in the Champions League and Eto'o scored a hattrick. After scoring his third goal, Eto'o ran over to the press area, borrowed a camera and took some pictures of Wesley Sneijder as he came over to join the celebration. Why? No one knows.

UEFA Champions League Draw and Club Footballer of the Year Award Show

Wesley Sneijder, Julio Cesar, Diego Milito and Maicon won the awards for Best Midfielder, Goalkeeper, Forward and Defender respectively . They all have one thing in common: They all play for Inter which was made fun of Michel Platini.
But they can be only one winner: Milito went back home as UEFA Club Footballer of the Year.
All the winners had to tell out which club was being drawn after receiving the prize.
Julio Cesar said "My Club" with a grin when he pulled out Inter's name.
Wesley Sneijder smiles with a grin after pulling out childhood club AFC Ajax.
All players pose with Moratti, Inter's president.

Benitez is new Inter coach...

That was fast. Just a week after Rafa left Liverpool by "mutual consent", Internazionale released a statement that read: " This morning, with both parties in agreement, a two year deal until June 30,2012, has been agreed between the Spanish manager and the club".
Benitez replaces the sexy one, The Special One who guided Inter to a treble last season but will taking over Real Madrid.

P.S: The Special One is fined 25,000 euros after he insinuated AS Roma would attempt to use underhand tactics to win the Seria A. Like paying Siena to win against Inter so Roma could win the title....that didn't happen, though!

Inter Milan Win Champions League!!! Final Score Bayern 0-2 Inter

It was a "blue night" in Madrid as Inter Milan won the Champions League after defeating Bayern Munich 2-0 after Diego Milito scored both goals.
The trophy marks Inter's treble winning campaign.
Captain Javier Zanetti made his 700th appearance for Inter.
Diego Milito with son Leandro. Milito was the man of the match as he scored both goals to make Inter European Champions.
Reports say this match will be José Mourinho's last game as Inter manager as he is rumoured to become Real Madrid's next manager.
It was a sweet return to the Bernabeu. Sneijder played for Real before being sold to Inter to make way for Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaká.
Inter fans who did not get the ticket celebrated outside the stadium near an Italian restaurant.
Bayern fans in despair.
Thomas Muller couldn't hide his disappointment after the final whistle.

Camp Nou turn on the sprinklers to dampen Inter's celebrations

I guess the groundsman at Camp Nou was at the game which Barcelona lost and saw the ecstatic and exultant celebrations by the Italians and decided to turn on the sprinklers hoping that the celebrations would stop which actually things really more exciting to see.

Barcelona vs Inter Milan: Mourinho books a place in the final

Inter Milan coach José Mourinho thinks his triumph over Barca was the "sweetest 1-0 defeat ever" as Inter went on to win the match 3-2 on aggregate after Gerard Pique scored at the 78th minute but Inter just were too strong for the Catalans. This is how the show went.
Dani Alves argues with José Mourinho and Wesley Sneijder as Pep Guardiola looks.
Thiago Motta had a scuffle with Sergio Busquets which led...
...him to get a straight red and leave Inter with only 10 man to play.
I laughed hard to the floor when I saw this picture!!!
But at the end of the match, it was Mourinho running around the pitch like a kid.
Victor Valdes certainly didn't like it which made him fight with Mourinho.
Guardiola: Come on, score some goals. I didn't play millions of bucks to see you score none!
Mourinho: you should have stayed with Inter, Zlatan!!!

Ref favoring Mourinho?

I know because everybody knows that José Mourinho hates referees. But after Inter's win over reigning champions Barcelona, Barca players are blasting at Portugese referee Olegário Benquerença who according to Barca players, was biased and loyal to his countryman.

Xavi Hernandez is alleged to have asked Mourinho: "What did you think of the referee?" to which the 'Special One' replied: "Why are you asking me? What about the Chelsea match last season?"

When asked what had happened in the tunnel, Mourinho said: "It's always difficult to lose for those who aren't used to losing. I'm like that too. It's the characteristic of a team which always wins.

"I can never have a problem with Xavi because I adore him. He's one of best in the world."

Gerard Pique is asking for an "impartial" referee for the 2nd leg at Nou Camp and was also allegedly shouting to Mourinho in the tunnel.

Mourinho is of course refering to the semifinal which referee Tom Henning Overebo favoured Barcelona eventhough there were 4 clear penalty claims by the Blues which helped Barcelona reach the final and beat Manchester United to win the trophy. The Special One said: "The way they are, tomorrow we will probably read I am to blame for the volcano.

"Maybe I have a friend in the volcano and I am responsible for that."

Mourinho did sound a note of caution to his Inter side, heading into next Wednesday's second leg.

He added: "We are not playing a small team, we are playing Barcelona who are a great team with a great coach and great fans.

"We go to Barcelona and we are ahead, and we want to go into the final, but we are not there yet."

Chelsea 0-1 Internazionale (Agg 3-1)

ahh....It was almost written out! José Mourinho, The Special One, returned to Stamford Bridge, to Chelsea where he was sacked after his contributions which made them a Top Class club were overwhelmed by his relationship with Roman Abramovich, club owner. Its almost like you bought a German Shepperd to guard your house and any thief who went in the house were shred to pieces only to leave him astray because he didn't like you. (Apologies to José for comparing him to a dog).

Chelsea vs Inter, José vs Carlo. Portugal vs Italy, Sexy vs Beer Belly (Okay, im a bit mean here)

Let the Game begin!
Why can't he stop looking adorable!?
José Mourinho, the celebrity!
If that is the face when he is laying back at the dugout, what about his *ahem* other faces?
José definitely proves that he is the most fashionable man in football
Average José, simple, laid back , unrevealing when needed to
Old foes. Both are from the Blue of London and Milan. Except José does NOT have a beer belly like Carlo.
Carlo Ancelotti said he wants to be the Sir Alex Ferguson of London. After Didier Drogba's sending off, I am pretty sure he did the infamous "Fergie's Hairdryer Treament"
José celebrates with a small smile and a firm hand.

Final Verdict: José Wins, Carlo LOOSES!
