April's Manager and Player of the Month

Martin O'Neill has been named the manager of the month after The Villains revitalised their European hopes with four victories and a draw from their five matches in the Barclays Premier League during April.
O'Neill's men began the month with a narrow 1-0 victory away at Bolton Wanderers, before returning to home territory to claim a battling 2-2 draw with Everton. Two further wins on the road at Portsmouth and Hull City yielded maximum points.
Congrats to both of you!

Manchester United 3 Tottenham Hotspurs 1
Manchester United overcame a determined Tottenham side to go top of the Premier League. The Old Trafford side had two Ryan Giggs penalties to thank for their victory which puts them ahead of Chelsea at least until the west London side takes on Stoke City on Sunday.
After a quiet first half Patrice Evra was felled in the box by Benoit Assou Ekotto and veteran Giggs made no mistake from the spot. Ledley King headed in from a Gareth Bale corner to level things ten minutes later. However Nani restored United’s lead over the White Hart Lane side.
Ryan Giggs put away another spot kick after Wilson Palacios brought down Nani to seal the contest and hand Sir Alex Ferguson a crucial win.
