Tomás Roncero, writer for Madrid-based newspaper AS, has gained media attention after his rant on some of Real Madrid players looking like certain types of animals.“Benzema is a harmless kitty, Di María is a pit-bull, Özil is a German shepherd, Xabi Alonso a Siberian husky.” says Roncero.

Controversy surrounds Real Madrid after both Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos received second yellow cards for time wasting. It seems that José Mourinho had orchestrated a devious plan to get both Xabi and Sergio so they would have a clean slate when Real Madrid (already qualified) play in the round of 16.
