Paul the Octopus has passed away. Who saw that coming? The ambassador for England's 2018 bid became a world wide sensation after predicting Germany's games and eventually the final between Spain and The Netherlands correctly. It was expected that he would die before Euro 2012 as common octopus's only live 2 years maximum.

The Wayne Rooney World Cup Pizza
Mulberry Street, a pizzeria in Notting Hill, is celebrating/cashing in on this year's World Cup by dishing up their latest creation: The Rooney.
As the name suggests, it's a pizza lovingly fashioned to resemble the ogreish face of England talisman Wayne 'Wazza' Rooney. And whaddyaknow, it looks surprisingly like him. Black olives for nostrils, red onion for the mouth, green peppers for eyebrows. Its like eating Rooney's face. Would u??? I wouldn't

Vuvuzelas Must Be Banned
I hate the vuvuzelas. Its like a swarm of bees just invaded the pitch.Monday, June 14, 2010
Oh dear....
The Americans are never gonna get "soccer", do they?? Bunker Hill?? Greatest Tie?? Andres Iniesta Ain't A Master of The (ANNOYING??) Vuvuzela
As the vuvuzela debate rages on, struggling to be heard over the constant buzz of the vuvuzelas themselves, one player has attempted to publicly make peace with the mass-produced plastic horns that have already drawn complaints and blame from so many of his peers.
In an interview for Spanish TV, midfielder Andres Iniesta was presented with a vuvu and asked to give it a go. Though appearing a bit hesitant, Iniesta accepted the challenge and tried to show the thing who's boss with a chuckle-impaired blow. The result? Nothing. Everyone laughed and Iniesta surrendered the horn back to the interviewer, who demonstrated just how painfully easy it is to make it work before handing it back to Iniesta for another go. And, with a mighty puff ... nothing.
Iniesta played it off with more laughter and made like he was going to throw the insubordinate vuvuzela away, but he didn't. The vuvuzela wins again.
