Vanity Fair's World Cup Spread for June Issue

The players stripped for renown photographer Annie Leibowitz

Sulley Muntari can't believe he is stripping for his country! Why is Landon Donovan covering up his head with a white cloth? Kaká looks cute as usual but I don't get Samuel Eto'o's pose. Its also good to see Alexandre Pato after his divorce.

I get C-Ron but Drogba? Seriously???

Splitsville: Sthefany and Alexandre

Nine months and 13 days. This was the time it took for the fairy tale, played by Sthefany Brito and Alexandre Pato, to end. The actress and the footballer, who married a bash valued at R$ 1 million in the Copacabana Palace on 7 July last year, failed to overcome a crisis in their relationship and decided to put an end to the union. Pato left the apartment he shared with his wife in Milan, Italy, and is temporarily living in a hotel. Sandra, mother of Sthefany, is in Italy and is helping her daughter overcome this bad time. Close friends to the actress said she is resolving some personal problems back in Milan, and as soon as possible, will return to Brazil. The aviation chaos in Europe is also a factor that hinders her return to Rio

NiKE Sponsored Countries to Wear Eco-Friendly Kits.

In my entire life on this beautiful planet, never did I know that plastic bottles will be worn by world-class professional footballers. Yes, plastic bottles have been converted into kits. The creator? Nike!Did you know, all the kits are made out of plastic bottles which were provided by landmills in Japan and Vietnam?

Robert Koren of Solvenia, Vince Grella of Australia, Clint Dempsey of USA, Nani of Portugal, one Umbro-sponsored team Jermaine Jenas of England, Alexandre Pato of Brazil, Edson Bradfeeld of Netherlands, Cy Lee of Korea, Ryan Nelson of New Zealand and Nenaid Mkijis of Serbia poses during the Nike unveils the new Brazil home and away kit, plus 8 away kits for the other Nike-Sponsored federations appearing at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa at Battersea Power Station in London, England.

Match Review

Milan's main man

Its either Pato, Ronaldinho or Becks who will shine in but my money is on Pato since he did score against their weekend match against Udinese. Ronaldinho, not too sure. Beckham is hoping he can start but he has been benched for the past few games.

Key Red Devil

Rooney has been in terrific or should I say "world-class form" with scoring goals non-stop. Ferdinand and Van de Sar will take care behind.

Becks is back

David Beckham has said that he would love to fight against his boyhood club but he hasn't made an impact in the last games he has played. Leonardo has said that the best team will play against United but who cares? I only want to see Becks play when he returns to Old Trafford.

United XI and Formation

4-5-1= Van de Sar, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Owen, Nani, Rooney

Score Prediction

Win 2-1 United

Reds travel to Milan! Milan Line Up

Aah...the day has come. David Beckham will finally face against the club which made him who he is today. And for the first time, I won't be on Becks' side. And Milan won't be going to this game as the favourites. Beforehand, Milan has kicked out the Red Devils 4 times in 4 European Ties which is not really good. But, since Kaka left for Real, things are looking pretty shaky in San Siro. I have been following the club's journey in Milan through manutd.com's daily blog Today at Milan ( well, its usually Today at OT but because of the travelling Reds, a temporary change has had to be made). AC Milan barely even qualified in the CL. They never won once, losing twice and drawing 3. And the Rossoneri's are 10 points behind rivals Inter in the Serie A. But never underestimate any team (which is a valuable lesson i learned when United met Villa, Fulham and Leeds). With the experience they have, United will have a tough time with seven powerhouses (not just Becks)

1.Alessandro Nesta (Defender)

2.Andrea Pirlo (Midfielder)

3. Ronaldinho (Midfielder)

4.Gennaro Gattuso (Midfielder)

5. Massimo Ambrosini (Midfielder)

6.Marco Boriello (Striker)

7.Alexandre Pato (Striker)

Man to watch: Pato
