Guti crashes his car, attacks cameraman, charged for drunk driving

Former Real Madrid star Guti apparently hit the night clubs after his Besiktas side beat Bursaspor 1-0 in their Turkish Super League match on Sunday. Around 4 a.m. on Monday morning, he accidentally drifted into the wrong lane and collided with a bus. Nobody was hurt with only minor damage. Police arrested him for drunk driving and reports say that his blood alcohol level was five times higher than the legal limit in Israel. Police slapped him a fine and took away his license.

To one's suprise , Guti told Marca that he wasn't drunk at all:

"I understand that here in Turkey things are exaggerated about me, but it's a lie to say I was drunk.

"It was a light crash. Only broke the mirror of my car. There is no further damage."

The evidence suggests otherwise, my (drunk) friend.

Suarez Does A Mike Tyson And Eto'o Does A Zidane

Firstly, Luis Suarez. Yes, Ajax's captain may have done a "Hand Of God" Part 2 but no one saw this coming. In Ajax's match against PSV Eindhoven (that ended 0-0), Ajax's Rasmus Lindren was shown a straight red for a ruthless challenge on Ibrahim Afellay (set to join Barca in January).

His challenge started off a fracas between the two clubs. During the scuffle, Suarez fleetingly seemed to bite PSV’s Otman Bakkal on the shoulder.

The ref was in a very good position when this Tyson-esque thing happened and Suarez went out unpunished. After the final whistle, Suarez and Bakkal left the pitch side by side. Problem solved.

Inter Milan's crisis intensified with a 2-1 defeat at Chievo where Samuel Eto'o committed a Zidane-like headbutt that could result in a lengthy suspension.

In a moment of madness similar , Eto'o headbutted
Bostjan Cesar in the chest after having been hit by the defender. The referee missed the incident but the big boys at Serie A are surely to look at video evidence and will certainly give him a lengthy ban.

Eric Cantona: 21st Century Che Guevara

Monsieur Eric Cantona is making headlines ( and trending on twitter, mind you) after his public statement urging people to stop protesting on the streets by holding placards but a more radical revolution against the banking stratum.

In an interview with local newspaper Presse Océan, the former Man Utd star urged anti-bank protesters simply to withdraw their money from the banks rather than striking against them.

Cantona's words has made the public more aware of the situation and the public have already decided a date, 7th December, to withdraw all their money from the banks.

Bust Up Between Guardiola And Solbakken

After Copenhagen’s 1-1 draw against Barcelona last night, a dispute started between the two coaches. The reason of the bust up between Guardiola and Stale Solbakken seems to be Jose Pinto's sly (yet intelligent if you think about it) whistle in the previous leg at the Nou Camp.

Solbakken said later, “After we had shaken hands he (Guardiola) started to say something about UEFA and I think he meant the whistling incident, I said that he (Pinto) should have got five games – that was just a bad Norwegian joke

“Maybe he doesn’t understand Norwegian humour! … I really respect Guardiola, he’s one of the finest coaches but I think he was told something wrong.”

Well, if Norwegian humour means getting into someone's face, then no one would get it.

Animal Cruelty: Duck Gets Thrown

The match between Zulte Waregem and Lokeren was invaded by a curious spectator i.e a duck who was ousted in a violent manner by a player.

The small bird invaded the field. So far so normal, but the trouble came later.

The match referee ordered the keeper of Lokeren, Jugoslav Lazic to get the ball, but he did not fear the duck. Given this, Zulte striker Mahamadou Habibou runs after the bird, and without compassion he holds the poor animal and threw it off the field. The final player was booed by what they considered an animal mistreatment.

Ramos Almost Sparks Crisis In Spain Over Regional Languages

Spain and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has now caused a bit of a stir in Spain after a sarcastic quote may well add to the anti-Spanish sentiment among many Catalans.

Even those of you who don’t know much about Spanish history will be aware Basque separatism and no doubt also the strong Catalan identity which usually comes with diehard support of FC Barcelona. Many Spaniards particularly hate Catalans and view them as different people.

Andalusia, the birthplace of Ramos is not one of the areas that are very stern in its call for independence of even showing off their language Andalusia. Ramos is certainly one of them.

The journalist asked Gerald Pique to answer a question in Catalan, something the Barcelona player had no problem with.

When Pique asked whether he should translate his answer to Spanish, Sergio Ramos interrupted saying that his teammate should give his answer in 'Andalusian', since the journalist "had difficulties understanding Castilian".

Castilian is what the rest of the world call Spanish.

Right after the press conference, Ramos took a picture and posted it on his Twitter account with fellow teammate and Catalan, Gerard Pique. The Real Madrid fullback later told press he was only joking and “had no problem with Catalans or the Catalan language” which basically avoids any problems.

Becks Denies Cheating Allegations

David Beckham has denied allegations that he had an affair with a $10,000-a-night prostitute and a threesome.

Irma Nici, 26, claims in US gossip rag In Touch that she had sex with Becks five times in '07.

“[The allegations] that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous, as the magazine was clearly told before publication,” a Beckham spokesperson rep told Now magazine.

“Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine.”

Rooney Not Playing, Still Gets Inflatable Doll Treatment

Wayne Rooney maybe was not at Goodison Park but still gets the doll treatment after he allegedly slept with a prostitute during his wife's pregnancy.
Well, at least it was not original with John Terry receiving ALMOST the same treatment (at least it was clothed) by Stoke fans after it was known he slept with Wayne Bridge's ex.

Wayne Rooney Cheated On Pregnant Coleen With Prostitute

Wayne Rooney had a series of romps with a £1,200-a-time hooker when wife Coleen was pregnant. The hooker...Jenny Thompson,21. And their romps lasted months but stopped after son, Kai was born, according to the Mirror. The Mirror reports:

“The £100,000-a-week Manchester United and England icon slept with brunette Jennifer Thompson, 21, seven times over four months.

And, astonishingly, he even flaunted her on a string of dates to VIP haunts in Manchester, including bars, clubs and the city’s 235 Casino.

Last night a humiliated Rooney was confessing his disgrace to childhood sweetheart Coleen, who took him back in 2004 after the Sunday Mirror twice exposed him for cheating on her with prostitutes.

He told a pal yesterday: ‘My life is in ruins…I’ve been so stupid. Coleen won’t forgive me this time. She will leave me.’”
The woman involved.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT??????????????????????????????????????????????

All England players are the same! I can't believe this. As a United fan, I have nothing else to do than give him my full support. Its a sad day for me. This guy was the one I looked up at. I have a keychain with his Shrek face, I have a figurine of Rooney, I have his face posted up my door.

It will take some time to recover. I am off to heartbroken-by-fav-footballers' rehab. *sobs*

On the bright side: At least it was NOT a granny and its stopped after his son was born in order to be a role model to his son.

I can't take this anymore. I need more convincing.

Jack Wilshere "Was Pestering Girls"

Jack Wilshere, who was arrested and released on police bail on suspicion of GBH (grievous bodily harm) last weekend, had earlier been thrown out of a club for pestering girls. The 18-year-old had allegedly been annoying a group of girls celebrating a birthday by attempting to take up-skirt photos using his mobile phone.

Josefin Rosen, aged 20, whose group was in the VIP section of the night club, Amika along with Wilshere’s, said: “Jack kept laughing and trying to take pictures up our skirts. He made me feel really uncomfortable. If I was his mother I’d be ashamed of him.”

Josefin told The Sun allegedly teetotal Wilshere was drinking but not that drunk.

An Amika spokesman confirmed the incidents and said: “We put up a barrier and provided security between the girls and Jack Wilshere’s party. They were asked to leave.”

Jack Wilshere is ready to be a regular first teamer.

An England Player Takes Out A Court Injunction.

Ahh...Injunctions. The way most footballers are doing to maintain their goody two shoes image.

Clue: The multi-millionaire England international is a father in a long-term relationship. He won the restrictive order banning a woman from publicising personal details about him. Like cheating.

Hmm, wonder who could it be? Any guesses?
